What is it?Stretching over 700 acres, Roundhay Park is a go-to for picnickers, dog-walkers, joggers and sun-worshippers.
Why go?It’s the only park in Leeds that has a family of meerkats as residents. There are also lakes, woodland, gardens and the pièce de résistance, ‘Tropical World’, which is home to all things wild and wonderful.
Don’t miss:Hop on board the park ‘train’, which does circuits of the park every 15 minutes in the summer setting off from the Lakeside Café to the main park gates and back again. You’ll also find Leeds’ biggest bonfire and fireworks here on Guy Fawkes Night.
Standard bookings only allows for one entry and one exit and assumes your car will be in the car park for the duration of your stay.
If your parking session is over 24 hours then you will be given the opportunity to upgrade your booking to Multi-Entry/Exit.
As most of our bookings do not specify an arrival time it is not always possible for you to enter immediately if the site is busy. We cannot guarantee that a space will be available at all times of the day of booking but in the unlikely event that the car park is full, the next free space after your arrival would be yours.
The team on site will work hard to get you in as soon as possible. In the extremely unlikely event that the car park remains full we would offer you an alternative.
